Practice Areas
Our clientele is diverse and our services are specialized.
Medico-Legal Services
Our board-certified neuropsychologists provide specialized medicolegal services, including consultation, case review, and comprehensive neuropsychological assessment in the context of personal injury litigation, guardianship proceedings, disability claims, and immigration-related cases. We offer clear, evidence-based evaluations and expert documentation to support legal decision-making and ensure that each case is informed by objective, clinically grounded findings.

Neuropsychological Testing
We provide a comfortable and private environment and customize our evaluation services to provide exceptional care to our clients. We are experienced in conducting neuropsychological assessments for adults presenting with diagnosis such as memory loss, dementia, traumatic brain injury, stroke, epilepsy, and other acquired brain injuries and diseases of the central nervous system.

Coordination of Care
We work actively with case managers, legal advocates, guardians, and families to help educate about diagnosis, and document treatment needs, safety concerns, and prognosis. Through well-established connections with local healthcare providers and community resources, we help ensure that every client has access to comprehensive support beyond the evaluation — including referrals, treatment coordination, and ongoing care options.
How We Work
What to expect
01
Initial Interview
First, we will set up a time for you to meet with one of our doctors for an initial interview. This is a good time for you and your loved ones to talk about your concerns and discuss options for testing. At the end of this meeting, your doctor will schedule the testing portion of the exam with you. Many times, this can be completed on the same day.
02
Neuropsychological Testing
During this portion of the evaluation, you will meet with one of our doctors, or a trained assistant known as a psychometrist, who will administer neuropsychological tests to you. Testing can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours depending on your specific needs. Testing can also be broken down across multiple days to manage factors like fatigue and pain.
03
Feedback
After you have completed the interview and testing portions of the evaluation, your doctor will meet with you and review the results of your testing, answer questions you might have about your condition, discuss recommendations, and offer additional resources. Your family and loved ones are always welcome to join you during this session.

Highly Recommend
I have seen neurologists, epileptologists, and psychiatrists. Out of all of them only Dr. Belen had an idea of what was going on with my cognition and she has offered great strategies for helping me with anxiety. She has a wonderful personality and I would and have recommended her to anyone needing neuropsychologist support.

Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions? We have answers.
What insurances plans are accepted?
We are in network with Traditional Medicare, and most Cigna, Aetna, Humana, and BC/BS plans.
Do you accept workers compensation?
Yes, we are happy to work with injured workers and their representatives. Please fax referrals, records, and prior authorizations to 888-974-0364.
Do you perform independent medical examinations?
Yes. We are experienced in performing independent medical examinations to answer medico-legal questions including extent of injury, maximum medical improvement, and impairment ratings.
Our practice does not accept Letters of Protection (LOPs) as a form of payment. All medicolegal evaluations and services must be paid directly by the retaining party, attorney, or client.
Do you prescribe medication?
No — psychologists do not prescribe medication. Our focus is on understanding how the brain works, diagnosing cognitive and emotional conditions, and providing therapy and behavioral strategies. If medication might be helpful, we can collaborate with your primary care provider or refer you to a psychiatrist, who is a medical doctor trained to prescribe and manage medications.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes! We provide neuropsychological assessments using a confidential tele-video portal.
How much does it cost for an evaluation if I do not have insurance?
We offer a flat rate of $1900 for a comprehensive clinical neuropsychological evaluation which involves a clinical interview, neuropsychological testing, feedback, and a detailed report with recommendations and resources.
Our rate for immigration related hardship and medical exemption evaluations is $800.
Do you work with children?
No. At this time we are only accepting clients ages 18 and up.
Do I need a referral?
In most cases, no referral is required — you can contact us directly to schedule an evaluation. However, some insurance plans do require a referral or prior authorization from your doctor. We’re happy to guide you through the process and help coordinate with your healthcare provider if needed.
