
David F. Lerner, Ph.D., ABPP-CN
Clinical Neuropsychologist
Dr. Lerner is a licensed psychologist in Texas and Arizona and is board certified in neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology. He earned his doctorate in psychology at Arizona State University and completed his predoctoral internship through Illinois State University. He completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology meeting Houston Guidelines at Neuropsychology Consultants, a private practice in McKinney, in conjunction with Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Dallas. Dr. Lerner has worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, day-neuro/intensive outpatient, and private practice. Dr. Lerner is fluent in Japanese and was also employed by the city of Himeji in Japan as a language teacher and community liaison through the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) program prior to beginning graduate school. He also graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University where he earned concurrent bachelor’s degrees in Asian Languages and Art History.

Katrina Belen, Psy.D.
Bilingual Clinical Neuropsychologist
Dr. Belen is a licensed psychologist in Texas and specializes in cognitive assessment and rehabilitation with individuals of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Originally from New Mexico, she completed undergraduate studies at the University of New Mexico and received doctoral training in clinical neuropsychology at Carlos Albizu University in Miami, FL. She completed internship and post-doctoral residency programs in neuropsychology at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Belen has worked with individuals across the continuum of care including ICU, trauma, acute rehabilitation, post-acute rehabilitation, and community-based rehabilitation settings. Dr. Belen has been an invited speaker, presenting nationally and internationally, on topics relating to cultural identity, bilingualism, culturally informed rehabilitation, and neuropsychological assessment with non-English speakers. Specific areas of interest include traumatic brain injury, concussion, multiple sclerosis, stroke and dementia.

Isis Yahaira Marroquin Jerez de Cifuentes, M.S.
Psychometrist
Isis is originally from Guatemala and received a master’s degree in applied clinical neuropsychology from Universidad del Valle de Guatemala. She administers neuropsychological tests in Spanish virtually and in person under the supervision of Dr. Belen.
